Air force one offers an accredited apprenticeship program.

Acceptance based on current project needs, budget, and other factors.

Did you know that you do not have to join the Union to participate in an apprenticeship program? Air Force One associates have the opportunity to “earn while you learn” under the direction of Dedicated Training Manager, Dan Linger! Upon completion of the program, apprentices receive college credit and a certificate of completion as a qualified journeyperson from The Ohio State Apprenticeship Council and U.S. Department of Labor.

Some things to note:

  • Up to 8,000 hours of on-the-job training
  • 576 hours of related technical instruction training in the classroom
  • Air Force One pays for all classes
  • Wage increases at the completion of each apprenticeship level
  • 4 years to complete the entire program
  • Need to be an employee of Air Force One to apply
