Air Force One NAS Works to Benefit Wounded Heroes Foundation

As part of our cultural enrichment, Air Force One has several STO (Service to Others) outreach programs. On Saturday August 16, 2014, Trevor Stiegemeier and Chris Papp from Air Force One’s North American Services Division, along with Eric Bartlett from our Alliance Partner Technology Management, Inc. (Chicago) participated in the 4th annual Cleveland Blues Baseball Club golf outing to benefit the Wounded Heroes Foundation. The event raised proceeds and donations to benefit our wounded heroes. The group works to support the “injured men and women of our armed forces serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world,” suffering from traumatic and debilitating injuries.

This year’s event set a record with 36 groups of four participating. Air Force One NAS sponsored 2 of the 18 holes for the event, and our team finished in 2nd place at -11 under par.

It’s with humble gratitude that we do what we can to service our country and community. Learn more about our Community Foundation at https://airforceone.com/who-we-are/community-foundation.
