Air Force One Welcomes Back Familiar Face To Lead Construction

Air Force One has recently welcomed back former associate & industry veteran, Rick Schmeltzer, as the new Vice President of Construction for the company. Rick, who was once a Service Manager for AFO from 1999-2001, will be based out of the Dublin office and will be overseeing all projects in Central Ohio, as well as in the Toledo & Cleveland areas.

“Not only is Rick a valued former associate, he also has a vast knowledge of the HVAC industry in many different capacities. I’m excited to have him back on board and leading our projects team,” said Greg Guy, CEO at Air Force One.

With nearly 30 years in HVAC industry, Rick got his start in commercial refrigeration during his 4 years of service in the United States Air Force. With a mix of residential and commercial HVAC experience, he brings with him a keen technical acumen, enthusiasm for our trade and a passion for servant leadership, which fits right in with the core values of Air Force One.

“I’m incredibly excited to be back at Air Force One because I truly enjoy the consistent, winning culture and I really identify with the company’s core values of Integrity, Humility, Intelligence and Hunger,” Rick remarked.

The Air Force One family is excited to have him back on the team and we are confident he will continue to strengthen our relationships, both within the project teams and with our clients.
